Removals:
- Removed Contentified’s world presets, just because they SEVERELY broke and no one really used them anyhow.
- This means that anything related to these world presets (like their custom chunk generators) should still work for now, but will be unsupported in the future.
- Removed Contentified’s Copper Nuggets, since Mojang added them officially.
- This means anything that used to use Copper Nuggets will now use the VANILLA ones, like taming and feeding Mimic Chests.
- When using Contentified’s Programmer Art Resource Pack, it now reverts the vanilla Copper Nugget’s texture to the old Contentified one.
Changes:
- The vanilla Copper Torch now uses a Copper handle, instead of a wooden one.
- Contentified’s pre-existing Boron Fire, Torches, Lanterns, Campfires, and Jack O’Lanterns now have updated textures to match the vanilla Copper Torch and Lantern textures/colors.
- This means that the old textures are now in the Contentified Programmer Art Resource Pack.
- Piglins now have a 5% chance to barter 1-3 Netherite Scrap.
- End City loot chests now have a 1% chance of containing 0-2 Netherite Scrap.
- Updated the model and texture of Stalkers.
- The Stalker Spawn Egg texture has also been changed alongside the mob to include the new shape of its eyes.
- The old model and texture are now in the Contentified Programmer Art Resource Pack.
- Stalkers can now teleport to players and other attackers. Under the following circumstances:
- RARELY when it attacks something.
- When IT is being attacked.
- This makes the Stalker much more prominent, as well as much scarier and harder to escape, whilst still not walking.
- Stalkers will now rarely ‘corrupt’ Torches, Lanterns, and other similar blocks, and convert them to their Redstone variants.
- This happens whenever they teleport to a mob.
- Stalkers will check 25 times around them within a 5x3x5 space for light sources to ‘corrupt’.
- Stalkers can now attack mobs from up to 3 blocks away.
- Starshard blocks can now be smelted into minerals.
- This will probably be the only upgrade to Starshard.
- This is what they smelt into:
- Red Starshard: Redstone Dust.
- Green Starshard: Emerald.
- Blue Starshard: Diamond.
- They CAN be smelted in a Blast Furnace as well.
- Dragon Eggs can now be mined, and mine faster with a Pickaxe.
- Dragon Eggs no longer teleport when you attempt to mine one.
- Dragon’s Breath bottles can now be used on a block to spawn Dragon’s Breath on the ground manually.
- The patch of Dragon’s Breath from this is smaller than the one that comes from the Ender Dragon and doesn’t last as long.
- This Dragon’s Breath that you release cannot be collected in empty Glass Bottles to prevent duplication.
- Blocks displayed on Pedestals no longer have unique rotation.
- Reworked the attack damage and attack speed of Rakes to be more consistent.
- Reduced the spawn rate of Wither Zombies in Soul Sand Valley biomes.
- You can now see your selected Hotbar slot from within your inventory.
- All types of fire can now be lit on top of their respective Jack O’Lanterns, like Soul Fire.
- Soul Fire can now be lit on Sculk and Sculk Catalysts.
- Sculk can now be smelted into an Echo Shard.
- Ender Fire can now be lit on Starshard and Purpur blocks. This does not affect the crafting recipe for Ender light sources.
- Reworked the Challenges tab in the world creation menu again.
- The “Challenges” title has been replaced by its old tooltip as a description.
- This description now has a new tooltip warning about toggling Challenges after world creation.
- This text has now FINALLY been centered.
- The “Challenges” title has been replaced by its old tooltip as a description.
- Water in the End dimension is now purple.
- Voidwing audio now has more diverse randomized pitches.
- The Metal Tooth item can now be smelted into an Iron Nugget.
- The Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind Paintings are now placeable in Survival mode.
- Updated the texture of the Chain Mesh to look better.
- The old texture, as usual, is now in the Contentified Programmer Art Resource Pack.
- Updated the description of the Contentified Programmer Art Resource Pack.
- Dullstone emits low-lying fog particles, but if artificially placed, it will not.
- This change was made to enhance the End's appearance even further, building on the improvements introduced with this update.
- The fog only appears above the Dullstone blocks, and will only appear if the block above it is air of any kind.
- Boron Torches can no longer be crafted with Copper Ingots. ONLY Copper Nuggets can be used to craft them.
- Gold Ingots can now be used on Stonecutters to place a safeguard that prevents them from damaging mobs.
- Breaking a Stonecutter with a safeguard on will result in it dropping a Gold Ingot alongside itself.
- Certain Advancements have had their type of frame changed depending on their true difficulty.
- Totems of Undying are now in the Tools & Utilities creative tab.
Fixes:

- Fixed Netherite Horse Armor not being fireproof.

- Fixed some of the elements in the Reparation Block’s screen rendering in front of dragged items.
- Fixed the Fishing Bobber no longer being 3D.
- Fixed Stools making you stand up when any Stool block was destroyed, not just the one that you were sitting on.
- Fixed Contentified’s custom Copper-related blocks not oxidizing. (Example: the Copper Weighted Pressure Plates.)
- Fixed Rakes not being enchantable.
- Fixed the Frozen not freezing players in Easy difficulty.
- This was because the freezing behavior for the Frozen was difficulty-based.
- Fixed the Submerged spawning in caves under oceans, which was not intentional.
- Fixed Contentified’s hostile mobs still spawning in Peaceful difficulty.
- Fixed Exit Portals sometimes colliding with End Cities during generation.
