Dedicated server: Download the [server zip](https://github.com/pajicadvance/svo/raw/refs/heads/26.1/server/server.zip), place it in an empty folder, extract it, then run one of the start scripts. This will download all the required files and start the server. To update the server to a newer modpack version, open `modpack-info.json` and change `version_id` to the latest version, then simply run the start script again. The features list on this page contains everything you need to know before starting the game. Some mods have their own advancement tabs which act as progression guidance of sorts (Farmer's Delight, Simple Smithing Overhaul). The vanilla tutorial is replaced with a tutorial that will walk you through the first steps of the new early game.
