ALL ALPHA VERSIONS PRIOR TO THIS VERSION HAVE HAD THEIR VERSION NUMBERS SHIFTED

The change places an extra 0 before the last digit of the version number. eg: Alpha V.0.1 has become V.0.01. All versions from this point will be dropping the 'V.' from version numbers too.

This version is the result of many small tweaks throughout the past 2 weeks.

Key Changes:

  • Scenes are now brighter due to changes in how lighting is calculated along with a boost to the default ambient option, which is also now configurable.
  • A FXAA graphics option has been added. This smooths out the edges of objects, making them looks less pixelated.
  • Shadows using the '16 Sample' PCF option for shadow softness now have a smoother blur made possible through Optifine's noisetex. The title of this option has been changed to 'Blurred 16 Sample' to reflect this change.
  • Clouds now use a solid and more transparent colour. This change might be reverted.
  • The shader pack now should work with 1.12.2 (and maybe some older versions) properly.

Details

  • 'Low' preset no longer softens shadows.
  • 16 Sample PCF now uses noisetex to create a smoother look.
  • Added anti-aliasing in the form of FXAA.
  • Clouds now are much more transparent and solid white.
  • Major fixes to remove incompatible GLSL functions that were running fine on 1.21.5 /w Iris due to it running code in a newer GLSL environment. This should help with support for older Minecraft versions.
  • Default ambient is now 0.25 instead of 0.025 and an ambient option has been added to settings.
