nineMinecraft is a joke site.
nineMinecraft is in no way affiliated with Modrinth or 9minecraft. (And frankly, who wants to be affiliated with the latter?)

Changes

  • An initial code refactor has been performed.
  • Unused code has been removed.
  • "Artifacts" in water reflections have been reduced.
  • Water lighting in caves has been fixed.
  • Vanilla water now integrates correctly with Distant Horizons water.
  • Shadows now use two additional samples to improve quality, especially during motion and when temporal sampling is not used.
  • Default cloud samples have increased from 7 to 10.
  • The "Witness" color scheme has been added.

Changes:

  • Added support for Additional Lanterns. Lanterns now emit dynamic light when held in hand.
  • Basic support for TerraFirmaCraft has been added. Custom water rendering has been improved, and the correct lighting model is used for plants and tree leaves. Preparations have been made for future support of the mod's metal blocks.
  • Added support for the upcoming new leaf block in Minecraft 1.21.2.
  • The mechanism for calculating the sky color gradient has been changed. It is now done in XYZ space.
  • Fixed an issue in the Nether where fog distance in Vanilla was incorrectly chosen when using Distant Horizons.

Changes

  • A bug that prevented drawing translucent objects other than water with Distant Horizons has been fixed.

  • The Korean (South Korea) language has been added (thanks to Shihyeon).

Changes

  • Support for Distant Horizons has been added under Iris.
  • The water normals have been changed to look less "static." Now the water ripples a bit in a rainy environment.

For Distant Horizons you need:

  • Minecraft 1.20.1 or higher.
  • Iris 1.7 or higher.
  • Distant Horizons 2.0.3 or higher

It does not work on Optifine, it is an exclusive feature of Iris.

Known issues:

  • Changing some Distant Horizons options causes black spots to appear on the screen. Reloading the shader will resolve the issue.

Changes

  • Turkish language is added to the options (thanks to hhhhh-ckr).
  • A problem that made it impossible to run the shader in Minecraft 1.12.2 is fixed.

Changes

  • The appearance of dark spots that invade the screen in elements of some mods is corrected.

Changes

  • Added an optional way to calculate fog in the nether that is similar to vanilla fog. (Thanks to Whitcome)

Changes

  • Added support for new grass internal name (thanks to SilentTem)

Changes

  • Changing luminosity due to the lunar phase is now optional.
  • Small color changes in the sky and lighting in the default color scheme.

Changes:

  • Adjusted the way the glow of metal objects is generated and added missing metal objects.
  • Fixed a typo of the word "strength" throughout all code and translations (thanks to artelidiot).
  • Adjusted the DOF focus speed to work better in normal gameplay (with the latest versions of Iris the object in the hand no longer causes problems).

Changes

  • Fixed extreme darkness in New Moon

Changes

  • Configurable night vision tint (thanks to Alex Wauck)
  • The lighting varies depending on the moon phase ((thanks to Alex Wauck)

Changes

  • Added support for movement due to wind for new blocks in version 1.20.x
  • Fixed the "Invalid program" error in Optifine introduced in last version.
  • Fixed an issue with fog on entities.

Changes:

  • Fixed an issue with the reflection of translucent blocks under caves.
  • Fog can be disabled.

Changes

  • Fixed a problem with autoexposure calculation.
  • Now the shader is compatible with the alphanumeric indicators of the Create mod, and surely with other mods that do a similar drawing of elements. It can also fix some other rare issues with the drawing of certain elements that were invisible.

Changes

  • Better support for the sky and elements of The Twilight Forest (Fabric version only, in Minecraft 1.16.4 or higher, Forge/Optifine is not supported).

  • The change in the drawing of the sky can benefit other mods that draw it in an unusual way.

  • The minimum shader for unknown dimensions is now enabled by default.

  • You can now manually choose the colors of the color theme from the configuration interface (Thanks to Arkdirfe).

  • Minor adjustments have been made to the clouds and tone map.

  • Notes are added to make it easier for those who want to extend or modify MakeUp.

This version works with Iris 1.5.1+

This version is recommended for use with Iris versions prior to 1.5.1.
