Reworked Vanilla biomes
End Highlands will now be covered in patches of diverse plants and Raw Purpur (this can be removed in the config).
You will now encounter Firefly Nests, home to Ender Fireflies, and Chorus Cane patches. Both will provide you with Chorus Cane Planks, a small amount of wood. Ender Fireflies can be tamed with End Blob and will protect you from Endermites, Enderblobs, and Small Enderblubs.
You might now rarely encounter Endstone Trappers, hiding in Infested End Stone. These creatures cannot be killed and will bite your feet. You can either sneak to stay undetected, break the block to kill it, or capture the entity with an End Stone block.
Undead Enderlings also fly around, serving as an aggressive counterpart to Endermen, making bridges over the Void more dangerous. When hurt, they turn invisible and gain a larger attack reach. Use a Citrine Candle to despawn nearby Undead Enderlings.
New structures can be found in this biomes :
- End House: Provides random rewards and often a map to the nearest Ancient End Tower.
- Ancient End Tower: Filled with loot and traps for advanced players.
- Flying End Ships: Found above the Void, containing Void Totems and maps to End Cities.
- Wanderer Islands: Small houses with Wandering Traders that sell mod-related items and Wandering Stew, which returns players to the Overworld.
Draglings are new small entities found in some structures, that randomly inflict "Disruption," preventing you from interacting with or destroying blocks.
Gloopy Plains
Gloopy Plains are chunks of land distorted and covered in purple agglomerates, home to various Endermite-related entities: Enderblobs, Small Enderbulbs, and Enderbulbs. Some of these creatures can inflict "Ender Infection," causing debuffs such as periodic damage or random teleportation.
The Crystal Flower, found here, periodically weakens nearby players, and interacting with it causes nausea. This biome is rich in Shiny Crystals (used for regeneration) and Prismalite, a rarer resource found in Gloopy Nests.
Ruins and Gloopstone piles can be found, often leading to small underground rooms filled with Endermite eggs and Gloopy Urns.
Warped Reef
Warped Reef appears to be a mutation that evolved into the Warped Forest found in the Nether. The reef contains entities similar to aquatic creatures, like Bluk, which can be hunted for food, and Bolok, which can "warp" items into variants. You will also encounter new plants, such as Warped Squash and Warped Berries. Fishing here allows you to obtain warped items and foods.
The Spunkler is a rare Shulker variant hiding in Warped Reef, while entities like the Glub can be worn to give jump boosts and slow falling.
Citrine Islands can be found at the bottom of Warped Reef, where citrine crystals grow.
Warped Ships and Warped Stations contain Warped Chests, which multiple players can access for random items. Warped Anchors and Warped Infusions are obtained through Warped Chests.
Extra Information / Q&A
Is this mod working with X other End mod ?
-> The is no known incompatibility with other end mods, and mods like The Outer End, Endless Biomes, End's Phantasm or Enlightened have been tested multiples times. The only issue you might encounter with some mods is Unusual End mods biomes not spawning (which explained in the next question)
I'm playing with BYG / Nullscape and the biomes aren't spawning ? Why and how can i fix it ?
-> Some End generation mods can override vanilla generation and instead rely on a file of their own to control it. Since this files usually only take in consideration their mod's biomes and vanilla biomes, Unusual End biomes aren't taken in consideration by default. You'll have to manually add them to the files managing biomes generation created by this mods.
For Nullscape, go to data/minecraft/dimension/the_end.json For BYG, go to config/byg/end-biomes.json5
Is there a config to the mod ?
-> "unusualend-common" can be found in the "config" folder, and will provide you with the ability to edit a lot of aspects, from cooldowns of some items to disabling some generation tweaks sure as the addition of Raw Purpur Patchs and End Highland Flora.
Any recommendation to play with this mod ?
-> It is heavily recommended to play with JEI for the additional informations it provides and recipes display. Also, End's Phantasm and Endless Biomes are great complements.
Is this mod adding some compatibilities ?
-> Yes, the mod is adding cross-compatibility with some other mods to fit in modpacks : Â - Curios (Some items will work from Curios slots) Â - Create (Additional recipes and minor compats) Â - Farmer's Delight (Food compats) Â - Ender's Delight (Minor compats) Â - JEI (Added recipes informations & additional "notes" for some features) Â - JEEDÂ (Effect descriptions)
Wait, this mod is made with Mcreator ?
-> Yes, it's mainly made with Mcreator, but not only. A lot of features were manually edited to allow me specific more advanced stuff (sure as the Podium's ability to render items, or animations not depending on Geckolib). It doesn't mean that i don't have any java knowledge, so if you encounter an issue, please report it, instead of, like some, assuming that i couldn't fix them !
