📘 About this mod:
Pure Amethyst Tools is yet another amethyst tools and armor mod that strives to fit the Vanilla style as closely as possible. All colors have been derived from the Vanilla blocks, and the item statistics were thoughtfully curated to be interesting and useful while not overlapping other materials.
This mod is intended to be used alongside my other mods, which I'm calling "micro-mods". I aim to combat bloated, overproduced mods with my simplistic, segmented micro-mods. Curate your own features without editing confusing config files and disabling recipes. Check my profile to find more mods, and complete your pack!
📖 What's inside:
v2.0.0 - Complete restructure.
Restructured this entire mod. Instead of having Fragile Amethyst made from shards, and Amethyst made from clusters, the new items are now Amethyst and Pure Amethyst. Amethyst is iron tier, with durability slightly weaker than iron, due to the plentiful nature of amethyst shards, and its ability to be infinitely renewed. Pure Amethyst is diamond level, but slightly slower, and 2/3rds the durability. It is made from Pure Amethyst Gems, which drop from budding amethyst blocks with the same drop rules as diamond. This means that you'll need to decide between keeping the budding block, to preserve the growth of clusters, or break it to harvest the gems. The armor includes a natural regen effect, that's much slower than Regeneration I, but will be in effect while wearing all four pieces as a set bonus.
Warning! Upgrading to this version will remove all existing Fragile Amethyst items, and all Amethyst items will be weakened. Plan accordingly.

Added two sets of armor and tools. The Fragile Amethyst items are crafted from amethyst shards, and the Amethyst items are crafted from amethyst clusters. The idea here is that amethyst is stronger in its fullest form, clusters. I will add stats later, but fragile amethyst is basically iron with slightly less durability than iron, and amethyst is diamond level tools with 66% of the durability of diamond.

Q: Will you backport to any older versions?
A: No. I prefer to keep my attention on the latest versions.
Q: Does this work on version ____?
A: Try it and see! If it does, please comment so I can mark it.
Q: Is the Forge version really a beta?
A: No. I mark the Fabric versions as 🟩Release, and the Forge versions as 🟦Beta. I won't upload a beta release here.
Q: What's the difference between this and every other amethyst items mod?
A: Glad you asked. My implementations may be more suitable to some styles. I follow a very vanilla friendly style, leaning towards underpowered. No hammers/treeaxes/excavators/paxels, straight forward, while feeling like a natural Minecraft update.
Q: This mod feels a bit overpowered/underpowered. Is there a config?
A: There is no config at this time. As I am relatively new to mod making, creating a config that works with Fabric and Forge is quite difficult. I'm hopeful in the future, there will be a config. If you have comments about this mod, please join the Discord and share your thoughts.
