Cobblemon: Perfect Partners

Cobblemon: Perfect Partners is a cozy companion addon for Cobblemon that makes your Pokémon feel more like true partners. Pet them, travel together, earn gifts, build memories, train Contest Conditions, collect Shiny Leaves, unlock ribbons, and customize everything through an in-game config menu.

Main Features

Partner interactions

Right-click your own Pokémon with an empty hand to give them a headpat. Headpats can raise friendship, show heart particles, play animations, and help train the Cute Contest Condition.

Sneak + right-click still opens Cobblemon’s normal Pokémon menu.

Walking friendship

Keep a Pokémon out while exploring to slowly build friendship and companion progress. Walking together can trigger partner messages, train the Tough Contest Condition, help with follow-assist behavior, and allow Pokémon to find gifts or Shiny Leaves.

Partner gifts

High-friendship Pokémon can occasionally find gifts while travelling. Gifts are held by the Pokémon first and can be accepted by interacting with them.

Gift pools can include useful items, rare finds, Cobblemon evolution items, special rewards, and contest scarves depending on friendship and config settings.

Memories

Special moments with your Pokémon can become keepsake memories, including long journeys, close calls, returning home, gifts, and Friendship Bracelet moments.

Contest Conditions

Perfect Partners adds Contest-style partner stats inspired by classic Pokémon games:

• Cool — battle wins
• Beauty — healing after danger
• Cute — headpats
• Smart — time near workstations
• Tough — travelling together

Each condition ranges from 0–255. Maxed conditions can unlock Cobblemon-native marks, ribbons, and aura effects.

Friendship Bracelet

The Friendship Bracelet is a special held item for partner Pokémon. It boosts friendship and Contest growth, gives a subtle partner effect, and can help a Pokémon endure a knockout-style hit.

Shiny Leaves and Leaf Crowns

Walking Pokémon can find Shiny Leaves in grassy or plant-like places, including grass blocks, tall grass, ferns, flowers, moss, leaves, vines, saplings, azalea, seagrass, and similar blocks.

Each Pokémon can collect five Shiny Leaf slots: A, B, C, D, and E. These are not map areas; they are collection slots based on the Pokémon’s nature and the route or biome where it is walking.

Collect all five to create a Shiny Crown memory and unlock a certificate.

The mod includes visual screens for partner progress, Trainer Cards, Shiny Leaf certificates, ribbons, marks, and companion milestones.
