I'm removing exploring from Minecraft. The only (interesting) direction to go is down!
-
No more interesting biomes - the entire world is now a plains biome that is modified to spawn oak and cherry trees. Terrain is also heavily simplified.
-
Stone tools are replaced with copper tools, slightly elongating the progression and requiring you to hold onto wooden tools for a bit longer. This also means iron can be pushed further underground, making it more of a challenge to get.
-
Beneath the surface is a thin crust of vanilla underground generation with coal and copper ore. Beneath that is a large, dangerous cavern with iron, diamonds, and other valuables.
