Description

Staffs & Tomes is a Data Pack which adds various Magic Weapons to the game, all of which are crafted!

Features & Information

Magical Weapons cannot do Melee Attacks!

Each Magical Weapon has 3 Spells:

• Basic Spell via Right Click
• Crouch Spell via Crouch Right Click
• Sprint Spell via Sprint Right Click

Magical Weapons will scale off of your current attributes.
As such, Status effects such as Strength, Weakness, Haste and Mining Fatigue will also affect your Spells & Casts

• Attack Damage: Spell Power and Effectiveness
• Attack Speed: Spell Cast Speed & Cooldown

Using Magic Weapons in the offhand will reduce your Attack Damage and Attack Speed
Using Magic Weapons in the mainhand with an empty offhand will grant 0.3 Attack Speed and will additionally grant 8 Armor Points while casting

New Enchantments:

• Swift Strike: +0.1 Attack Speed. Max Level is 3
• Brute Force: +1 Attack Damage. Cannot be added alongside another Damage Enchant. Max Level is 3

Weapons

Amethyst Staff

Basic Spell: Launch an Amethyst Shard at high velocity, shattering on impact with a block and leaving sharp buds on the ground
Crouch Spell: Place an Amplifier in front of you, Granting 25% Attack Damage and Attack Speed to all Players inside
Sprint Spell: Raise a line of Sharp Amethyst Buds along the ground in front of you, dealing Magic Damage and Slowing targets hit

Blaze Staff

Basic Spell: Shoot a Fireball which explodes upon hitting an enemy, damaging and burning all in its radius
Crouch Spell: Up to 5 random enemies nearby will have a pillar of fire appear beneath them, constantly damaging and burning them
Sprint Spell: Put a shield of fire around yourself, granting you fire resistance whilst Burning and Slowing enemies close by.
If you are on fire whilst the shield is acitve, you Gain 20% Attack Damage and Attack Speed, Resistance I and 4x Spell Cooldown Speed

Shadow Tome

This Tome increases Attack Damage when in the dark, but Decreases Attack Damage when in the light
Basic Spell: Launch a small Mass of Darkness ahead, Weakening and briefly Withering the target it hits. This can be held to cast continuously, increasing your Attack Speed after each shot. After 10 shots, releasing will shoot out 5 darkness masses at once
Crouch Spell: Launch a Seed of Darkness. Once it lands, it creates a nest which will produce Shadowspawn every 2 seconds which will fight for you. Enemies can and will target the nest and destroy it
Sprint Spell: Release a Warden Sonic Boom in front of you, Leaving enemies Slowed and Nauseated for a short period

Lucent Tome

All Lucent spells that affect players will also affect their pets
Basic Spell: Randomly release Spirits of Light between you and other nearby players. the spirits will float around and fly into a player, healing them
Crouch Spell: Place a Circle of Light at your feet, Healing Players and Harming Undead
Sprint Spell: Grant a temporary buff which cleanses negative status sffects and converts them into their positive counterpart
