Common Smithing Templates — 1.21.5 Changelog
This update brings Common Smithing Templates to Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.5 and refreshes the pack for the current Armor Trim Abilities ecosystem.
Changes
- Updated the datapack for Minecraft 1.21.5.
- Updated
pack.mcmetato the current pack format. - Added Smithed-style compatibility metadata and namespacing.
- Fixed the advancement background display.
- Updated internal commands and entity data for 1.21.5 compatibility.
- Trail Ruins armor trims now have a documented 1/2 chance to replace suspicious sand/gravel archaeology loot, matching the current code.
- Technical entities are now marked with Smithed entity tags for better compatibility with other datapacks.
Compatibility notes
- This pack is intended as a sister datapack for Armor Trim Abilities.
- Sentry, Dune, Vex, Wild, Spire, and Trail Ruins armor trims are made easier to obtain.
- The Trail Ruins suspicious-block behavior has been tested with Armor Trim Abilities’ full Coast archaeology bonus.
- made some code a little more precise
- spire trims now also appear in end crystals upon entering the end for the first time
