This datapack changes the recipes for all smithing templates to make them easier to obtain while aiming for balance. All armour trim recipes follow the same basic pattern, the only difference being the main material (cobblestone, cobbled deepslate, prismarine etc.).
As of 1.21.5 Armour trim recipes have changed replacing iron ingots with slimeballs. It made more sense to me as the slime might act as the glue to hold the trim material to the armour. The old recipe will still be available for those who want it.
