This mod adds a compatibility layer for Guard Villagers and [UNOFFICIAL] TaCZ 1.21.1 NeoForge Port. Guard Villagers are now able to properly hold and fire TACZ weapons at enemies and defend their bases better.
Guard Villagers that hold TACZ weapons will:
- target hostile entities at a range
- consume ammo (ammo condensed in ammo boxes also work)
- retreat to search for food to heal and retrieve appropriate ammo in vanilla block entities (chests, barrels, etc)
- reposition to find the proper line of sight to the target
- avoid firing on passive friendly entities (the player, other villagers, chickens, etc)
Other things:
- TACZ addons that add new weapons and ammo types work as well.
- Guard villagers do not innately become smarter, their targeting behavior and conditions are still very closely linked to Guard Villager's original implemention and configuration.
