Have you ever thought that protecting your base using redstone was to complex? If yes then you are in the right place, this mod adds in a wide variety of traps that can aid you in the protection and defense of your base, or if you are defending a village, these traps will help with that as well, and give you an edge in defeating your opponents.
All of these traps have crafting recipes that have to be used in order to get the trap, all of the traps though have recipes that correspond directly to the materials needed to make them ie the slime trap is a pressure plate with a slime ball at 3,6,9, and 12 o clock, or the evoker trap is a totem of undying on top of a pressure plate, a mod like Just Enough Items is highly recommended when using this mod to help find all of the crafting recipes.

Fire Trap: The fire trap will spawn fire in the immediate area to burn your attackers.
Pitfalltraps: The Pitfall traps have two variants, one is grass and the other for stone, but both will delete all blocks in a 3x4x3 area.
Lava Trap: The lava trap when activated spawns a 3x3x3 cube of lava encased in glass allowing you to watch your enemy burn.
Water Trap: Operates the same as the Lava trap, but uses water to drown an opponent rather than burning them in lava.
Cage Trap: The ideal trap for when you want to capture rather than eliminate, upon activation iron bars will spawn around the trap capturing whatever activated it.
Void Trap: An amazing way to take out a powerful opponent, the second any mob touches the Void trap they will be immediately teleported into the void.
Landmine: A classic trap, explodes when touched.
Devourer Trap: The Devourer trap spawns in four entities called the Devourers who will exterminate any enemy instantly, just watch out for them as they will attack players and mods alike.
Bounce Trap: The bouncer trap will launch the player or mob that touches it into the air.
Send em to Heaven (a specialty): The bouncer trap with even more power to make the mob go even higher.
Nuclear Landmine: A more powerful version of the landmine, with more damage, and a larger blast radius.
Lightning Trap: Upon any mob touching the lightning trap they will instantly be zapped over and over by bolts of lightning until eventually they perish in electrical glory.
Slime Trap: The slime trap will cover any mob that touches it with slime, hitting them with slowness, and keeping them in place for a few seconds while you get away.
Cobweb Trap: The most ideal trap for merely slowing down an opponent, once the enemy triggers the trap cobwebs will spawn in and slow them down keeping them from coming after you.
